I just got word that I have been accepted into the Schafer Meadows Fiber Arts Festival in Elma at the Grays Harbor County Fairgrounds on Oct. 9-11th. Created by the amazing Schafer Meadows Fiber Arts Guild , this annual festival began 12 years ago in a barn at Schafer Meadows and has grown to include classes, demos, vendors for fiber arts supplies and handcrafted items, music, raffles, pumpkin hunt and more! Like Fleebers Farm facebook page to stay updated on the event!
I am going to be very busy this fall. Any requests for colors or fibers for your fall spinning?
I sure hope to see you there!
I felt the funk today!

Today I’m working on Nuno wool felting with silk hankies and 19.5 micron merino! I am putting together a tutorial for kits that I’ll have available for the first time at Okfiberfest, May 30 and 31, 2015.
I’ve dyed a bunch of silk hankies in gorgeous bright colors to inspire you. The wool felting kits will include everything you need except soap and water!
Tunes for a spring morning felting session? Funky Town of course!
(I can neither confirm nor deny any fabulous dance moves that may be happening on the patio…)

yummy fibers in yummy colors
Just a teaser of some of the cool colors and fibers that will be in my batts for Okfiberfest. This bunch of hand dyed wool fibers includes 19.5 micron Merino, Masham, Targhee, overdyed mixed color BFL, Superwash Merino and nylon, Cheviot, 50/50 Merino/Tencel, and Polwarth.
This is like having a new box of crayons and I can’t wait to make the batts!
